This SHELIX head features 5 wings of knives with a total of 75 knives for installation in the ACCURA 15″ Planer, Model 2315. All Shelix orders include at no charge: Five replacement KN400 carbide inserts, One 1/4” Drive Handle, One T25 Torx Plus Bit.
NOTE! – Due to manufacturer design changes of the gearbox in 2006, the gearbox seal is smaller on these machines for models made from 2006 on. If you have a 2006 or later model machine please make sure to add a replacement seal to your order to prevent leaks occurring from your gear box. For newer models a replacement seal is highly recommended, but not required.
