Return and Cancellation Policy

If you are for any reason not satisfied with your purchase, you may return most item(s) within 30 days after the purchase date. First, you must notify us of the product(s) you are returning and you can do so by phone at (855) 567-3250 or email us at support@byrdtoolexperts.com  Please have your order number ready. We will provide you with a return authorization number. Please make sure that the authorization number is visible on the shipping box so that we can accept your return.

 

Warranty Issues and incorrect Order Fulfilment:

We will arrange for the return shipping of any defective items or incorrect order fulfillment so that the return shipping will not cause additional expenses to you. Returned items that are claimed to be defective will undergo a detailed quality control inspection. If the defect claim is approved and the item is defective, we will send you a new item free of any additional cost.

 

If the quality control inspection proves that there is no defect or the defect was caused by improper handling or installation by the customer, the customer be responsible pay for the repair or replacement, as well as for the return shipping charges that we paid the carrier to return the item.

 

 

Returns based on “Change of Mind” or accidentally ordered incorrect items:

We understand that sometimes customers change their mind, or no longer need to Shelix they ordered. If your order is for a standard stock item, we can assist.  Custom made Shelix heads are non-refundable.

 

If your order has not yet been put into production or has not yet shipped, Byrd Tool Experts will refund your order minus a $15 charge to cover charges passed on to us by your credit card processor to process the refund.

If you have already received your order and decide to return your product or discover you accidentally ordered the wrong product, we are glad to assist with that as well.  Please contact us by phone at (855) 567-3250 or email us at support@byrdtoolexperts.com  and we will send you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) form and ask you to attach this to the return shipping box, so that the receiving warehouse can recognize the package as yours upon arrival. You can choose any courier you prefer, and you are responsible for the return shipping charges. Upon receiving the returned items, the product will be inspected and properly re-packaged before being offered to other customers. We will then refund your purchase price with deduction of a 20% restocking fee. This is to cover our cost to have an engineer inspect the returned product, the repackaging of the Shelix, as well as merchant fees that were caused by processing your payment and refund.

 

Returns or Cancellation of Custom Orders:

Custom Shelix heads are made to order and cannot be cancelled or refunded once they are put into production.  If you contact us and cancel your order BEFORE manufacturing begins we can cancel your order minus a 10% processing fee.  This fee applies due to the large labor expense we incur for designing, engineering, and preparing your order for production before it begins production and simply covers our costs.
