This SHELIX head features 5 wings of knives with a total of 30 knives. Additional replacement knives can be ordered along.
Please note: The Powermatic P50 is on the market with 2 different cutter heads. Before you can order your SHELIX Head, you must verify what version has been used in your machine. To do this, you will need to remove the fence and the belt cover from the machine to expose the pulley mounted on the shaft of the cutter head. Measure the diameter of the shaft inside the pulley. It is either 5/8" or 3/4". It is also helpful to measure the entire length of the cutter head (including shafts) to double check.:
Shaft diameter: 5/8", Overall length of head (including shafts): 9.062" - Use version A
Shaft diameter: 3/4", Overall length of head (including shafts): 9.479" - Use version B
