SHELIX Cutterhead for POWERMATIC 8" Jointer, Model 60 / 60B / P60

This SHELIX head features 5 wings of knives with a total of 40 knives for installation in the POWERMATIC 8″ Jointer, Model 60 / 60B / P60.  All Shelix orders include at no charge:  Five replacement KN400 carbide inserts, One  1/4” Drive Handle, One  T25 Torx Plus Bit.

Please note:  The Powermatic Model 60 / 60B / P60 uses one of three different style cutter heads depending on the year your machine was made.  After you order your Shelix head, we will work with you to verify the specific model of head that fits your machine.

To do this, you will need to remove the fence and the belt cover from the machine to expose the pulley mounted on the shaft of the cutter head.

First: Measure the diameter of the shaft inside the pulley. It is either 5/8" or 3/4". If it is 3/4, you must further verify the cutting diameter (head diameter including knives which is either 2-3/4 or 3:

Second:  Measure the Cutting Diameter of your head.  Please leave the knives ON your head when measuring.  Measure the diameter of your head from one side to the other, INCLUDING the knives.  You head should measure either 2.75" across, or 3" across.

Third:  Now measure the Overall Length of your head, from one end of the shaft to the other.  Your head should measure either 10.880 inches, or 11.5 inches across.
